These Knotty Girlz mecate reins are made using premium 9/16" double braid polyester yacht rope.  Choose which style you prefer, with options of poppers each end, or popper one end and rope tassel on the other. With length options of 18 to 24 feet, and a variety of colors, you are sure to find something to fit your needs. Remember when matching colors with halters and other products to look for items with made from Polyester Rope.

    9/16" mecate

    While I haven't had the chance to use it yet, it sure was what I was looking for. And every other product I've gotten from Knotty Girlz has been excellent.

    Love my Knotty Girlz...!

    I LOVE my Mecate reins! They feel great in my hands - I love the weight and the feel. The burgundy/beige looks great on my mare! :) The colors are absolutely beautiful! Knotty Girlz has excellent quality and their customer service is extraordinary! Highly recommend!

    Exceeded my expectations

    I ordered the Mecate rein in brown/beige and tied it onto a brown stiff halter I ordered a year ago to convert it into a hackamore. I love the weight and feel of this rein. It is beautiful, excellent quality and very worth the price. Knotty Girlz have gorgeous products and excellent service Very pleased.

    This particular rope is as close as you will find to the professional clinicians products. Soft feel with a heavy weight for lighter contact.
