Soft 4-Knot Side Pull Halter (14DBP)

I ordered this in turquoise with a matching lead rope for my paint mare. It arrived very quickly and is gorgeous! It’s well made and the rings on the sides are perfect for being to train my youngster on direct reining. I’m planning to get matching reins to complete the set. So happy with this product!

I really like this soft sidepull halter with the four knots. I have the stiff side pull halters, but recently needed to switch my old gelding out of his staffle bit headstall into a bitless bridle. I decided to downsize one size and add his split reins to the side pull rings to make us a custom bridle. It works great.

This is a great halter for for little drafty. I bought the small for my yearling Gypsy Vanner because she tends to be a little head strong and like to push her way through situations rather being more soft in the face. The knots help get her attention where a regular nylon halter is like having nothing on her at all. I love the side pull option - so useful for many training utilities. We are starting to work on some little ground driving exercises and it’s great for that. She is almost 2 now and I’m getting ready to purchase my second of the same halter in the standard size because she’s finally grown to where she needs more room in the muzzle area. Will buy this halter on repeat.
