Stiff 4-Knot Hackamore Set (8TF)

I expected this to be great, and it is. The halter stiffness is perfect and the pushy gelding immediately noticed the 4 knots. This will be great for training and I am working on getting a soft face for him. Now, the rope for the reins is long enough to be reins and a lead rope which I didn't know. Super cool. Already planning on buying another for my other gelding.

Love it! Quality is top notch, & I like the stiffness. Size small fits my Arab gelding like it was made for him. Color selection is great.

the knotts are placed perfectly on my girls nose. I got the small for my 12.2 hh and 13.3 hh ponies. It does fit both. I will however be ordering another for my 13.3 hh pony as she is stocky. I feel it should be just a little larger, if the next size up is much bigger then I will stay with this one. the product feels nice in my hands. you should have soft hands for this. or get a more gental one. these people are easy to talk to. and I will place my next order over the phone as my larger pony mught require a softer one. I have always loved knotty girls product. I hope and pray they dont continue to raise their price to the reach the clinicians. they are to high and not as versatial in my opinion . also, they ship fast.

I use this so much more than I thought I would. Initially, I purchased this to use in lieu of a hackamore for putting the first few rides on an unbroke horse. I've found I use it a lot more than anticipated. I've got an older mare who's basically retired other than a little light trail riding and I use this instead of putting a bit in her mouth. She hadn't been ridden in years, but since the halter is nice and stiff and has the pressure point knots she quickly figured out what was being asked of her. The loop rein came set up at just the right length and the length of the lead end with popper is just right for a little ground work or half hitched around the saddle horn and ready to go as spanker if needed. I almost didn't buy this thinking it's an extra halter, but I leave the mecate set up on it so I don't have to change anything out and use this all the time. It's so easy to halter your horse, load up in the trailer and you don't even have to swap out for a bridle when you get where you're going. Great quality as always from Knnotty Girlz and super handy piece of equipment.

I have used knotty girlz tack for years so when I needed a hackamore their website was the first place I went. The stiff4-knot halter is amazing for pushy horses and teaching them to back off and soften to the halter. The weight of the rope reins is perfect too, its light enough to were you don’t notice your holding it but heavy enough to give release when you drop it. Perfect for when you want to hop on bareback but don’t want to grab all your tack. The mecate reins make it so easy to lead or lunge your horse. The colors are also amazing, always exactly what I want and vibrant. I plan to take it to the beach this weekend!

Customer service is excellent. They filled a special order with no problem. I ordered the Small for my larger Arabian (15'3). This was a little tight, so switched to a standard size. Fit is perfect. The quality is great. Reins are a nice thickness and comfortable in hands. I'm switching from using a dressage headset and bit and going bitless. Ordered the two knot. This seems to be the perfect amount of pressure. My horse is responding beautifully.
